Just off the top of my head, there was the 22c Statute of Liberty issue with France, the ocean mammals with Russia, and at least one other issue with Russia (I believe honoring an author).
I believe the United States issued a joint issue with Canada for thr opening of the St. Lawrence Seaway in 1959.
that author is William Soroyan, but I don't know the year. It may fall after Lars' end date. And I think it was Russian; it might have been another CIS entity, like Georgia.

usually it's a postmark that ties a stamp to the cover; here's it's a coffee cup. looks like an oversized, underinked CDS, sans dates but with beans
I don't often bother to learn about the artists who design stamps, but the gift of the artist-signed cover franked with the U.S. Saroyan stamp and "decorated" with the Russian version piqued my interest. Here are some links that might interest you:
Close Up (Los Angeles Times article): This article includes an interesting comment on the Soviet version of the stamp, and why it's different than the U.S. version.
American Art Archives: Ren Wicks (Advisory: Nudity ahead, but some nice aviation art as well.)
ren wicks: mid-century illustrator

P.S. I think David is wrong about that "coffee CDS". I googled it and could find no reference to coffee cups being used as CDS cancellation "hammers". I did find references to "too much coffee," which I think may apply to David.
OK, I guess I didn't do a good job asking my question. Every example was before 1992 and my specific question is AFTER 2006. I just gave a partial list for context, but it led folks off in an unintended direction. If you want to know ALL of the Joint Issues (as far as I know), here they are (if you add the list below to the one at the beginning of the thread):
1959 St. Lawrence Seaway - Canada
1960 Mexican Independence - Mexico
1965 Florida Settlement - Spain
1975 Apollo Soyuz - USSR
1976 US Independence - Canada
1977 Peace Bridge - Canada
1980 Philip Mazzei - Italy
1981 James Hoban - Ireland
1982 Diplomatic Recognition - Netherlands
1983 Amity and Commerce - Sweden
1983 Immigration/Emigration - Germany
1983 Treaty of Paris - France
1984 John McCormack - Ireland
1984 St. Lawrence Seaway (again) - Canada
1986 Stamp Collecting - Sweden
1986 Fracis Vigo (postcards) - Italy
1986 Statue of Liberty - France
1987 Friendship - Morocco
1988 Australian Bicentennial - Australia
1989 French Revolution - France
1990 Micronesia and Marshall Islands
1990 Sear Creatures - USSR
1991 Switzerland Anniversary - Switzerland
1991 Saroyan - USSR
1992 Columbus - Italy, Portugal and Spain
Now that the list is complete, am I missing anything after 2006?
Thanks for the link, Anglophile!
That Japan issue would meet my criteria. By the way, it does specify in the listing if it is a joint issue or a parallel issue.
Does anyone else like to find a copy of the joint issue stamp from the other country to go into your collection?

Just picked up the 2015 Scott Specialized from the library. It makes no mention that the US Polar Year 2007 was a joint issue. Was the joint issue just for Scott nos. 4203 and 4204 or would that include Scott 4123, the souvenir sheet titled "International Polar Year"?
Now I am into another collection Canadian and USA joint issues....Collecting stamps is never boring....Thanks for all the information
The International Polar Year stamps are parallel issues as it was an international event, but not issued in conjunction with another specific country's issue. The same is true with the US breast cancer semi-postal. Many countries have used the same theme and design, but these were not issued in a "joint" manner. Many countries issue stamps for the Chinese Lunar New Year. These are just common themed stamps.
Other than that, my doctor has told me that I have joint issues.
Michael,
Thanks for the info on the Polar Year.
It is my understanding that Colorado now has a "joint issue" to help address your "joint issue".
Lars
My latest info tells me 9 out of 10 stamp collectors have joint issues ....just saying!!
2010ccg
I must be the one our of ten that don't have any joint issues.....just saying!!

You better find some wood to knock on!
Bob,
you are incorrect about the coffee tying the stamp.
There are registrations ties, certification ties, airmail ties, and, in this case, espresso ties.
beans there, drank that
"beans there, drank that"
Lars Esq. asked if we wanted our…
"…daughters dancing naked in the streets? Is that what you want???"
"I don't recall what it said"
OK Bobstamp, I snorted when I read that. Perfect repartee.

Am I missing some Joint Issues???
After the orgy of stamps for the 1992 Columbus anniversary, there were still plenty of Joint Issues:
1992 - Space Accomplishments with Russia
1993 - Grace Kelly with Monaco
1994 - Cranes with China
1995 - Palau
1996 - Hanukkah with Israel
1998 - Cinco de Mayo with Mexico
1999 - Irish Immigration/Emigration with Ireland
2001 - Nobel Prize anniversary with Sweden
2005 - Greta Garbo with Sweden
2006 - Children's Book Animals with Great Britain (two of the stamps, anyway)
2006 - Exploration by Champlain with Canada
Since then, if I am not mistaken, there has only been ONE Joint Issue (albeit of two stamps). That would be the Edith Paif/Miles Davis Joint Issue with France in 2012.
Does anyone know of another OFFICIAL Joint Issue since 2006?
Lars
