Information about the club:The Austin Texas Stamp Club was founded in 1938. Since then, many with interest in philately, from novices to more experienced collectors of all ages have gathered to learn about our hobby, trade stamps and to participate in many of the activities the club has to offer. Today the club has about 90 members.

Dues are $15.00 per year for adults, $8.00 for 18-year-olds and younger.

Second Thursdays of the month are combination of swap and shop, plus business meeting, plus show and tell. Business seldom takes more than a half hour, after which it's just chatting, looking at other folks's stuff, maybe buying or selling or trading.

Fourth Thursday is auction... all kinds of stuff. Lately we've been seeing lots of specialized German material, plus remainder lots, box lots of covers, Doc's wonderful bought 'em low and selling them for less lots (how does he do it?), and more. Non-members are welcome to try it out, no strings.
